Accountant, Financial Reporting, Tax Accountant

Our client is an organization in the Fox Valley area looking for an Accountant
. Our client is looking for someone with payroll experience, who has strong analytical skills and is detail oriented.

The Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and general ledger entries
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Prepare full‑cycle payroll.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and accounting standards
• Conduct financial audits and support external auditors
• Monitor financial transactions and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain payroll records and assist with payroll processing
• Analyze financial information to identify trends and opportunities for improvement

The Accountant will possess the following:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or closely related field preferred
• Accounting or payroll experience preferred.
• High detail of attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
