  • Develop and execute the company’s sales strategy to achieve revenue, margin, and growth targets.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to meet individual and team performance goals.
  • Forecast sales performance, market conditions, and resource requirements to support planning and budgeting.
  • Establish KPIs, reporting structures, and performance dashboards to drive accountability and transparency.
Business Development
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and market segments.
  • Develop strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and strategic partners.
  • Oversee the full sales cycle, ensuring consistency in pricing, proposals, and negotiations.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and key client meetings.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
  • Implement customer feedback loops to enhance product offerings and service quality.
  • Collaborate with marketing to support lead generation, branding, promotional campaigns, and targeted outreach.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with operations, finance, and product teams to align sales goals with company capabilities.
  • Partner with leadership on strategic planning, product positioning, and go‑to‑market initiatives.
  • Ensure customer requirements are communicated throughout the organization to support timely and successful delivery.
  • Oversee CRM usage, pipeline management, and standard sales processes.
  • Establish pricing guidelines, proposal standards, and contract negotiation frameworks.
  • Review and refine sales processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and cycle time.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in sales, including 5+ years in a leadership or director‑level role.
  • Proven ability to build, scale, and lead high‑performing sales teams.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship‑building, and strategic planning skills.
  • Experience managing sales pipelines, forecasting revenue, and using CRM platforms.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth within a competitive industry.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
