We are seeking a Business Process Manager, to lead a cross functional implementation team from planning through completion to enhance, optimize and create business systems and processes to support the needs of the business. This role will also identify and prioritize systems/process opportunities that address existing gaps and support the growth needs of the organization as well as oversee the Business Process Specialist role.

What

you'll do...
  • Through influence, lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver key projects that balance the need of operations with information technology solutions that minimize complexity
  • Plan, monitor, prioritize and manage internal projects to develop and enhance our systems and processes from initiation through completion using formal project management methodologies.
  • Provide data analysis, testing code to support business systems/processes.
  • Provide leadership and executes the testing and troubleshooting of new software using data analysis to identify the problem and formulate solutions.
  • Identify business process solutions that support operational needs while minimizing customization.
  • Ensure project results meet requirements regarding quality, reliability, schedule, and cost. Proactively communicate and document project issues, changes or risks to the project sponsor, team members and stakeholders.
  • Hold the team and themselves accountable for project deliverables. Ability to manage the balance between business needs and project priorities.
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables with leadership and stakeholders to meet business objectives.
  • Where necessary, work with leaders to adjust to changing project scope and ensure agreement on go forward plan before deviation to timeline or budget.
  • Utilize design sessions to collaboratively gather cross functional input on the best way forward.
  • Conduct project Lessons Learned sessions to build new learnings back into future projects.
  • Work with external contractors to coordinate their work with respect to projects.
  • Provide training and coaching of team (to include: coordinating the development of user manuals, training materials, and other documents) to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process/system to the business areas.
  • Lead, develop, and coach the Business Process Specialist through the Performance Management process by providing guidance, training, feedback, and development.
  • Actively support the food safety management system & employee safety initiatives through adherence to policies, participation in various audits and meetings.
  • Provide support of existing and new processes/systems to ensure they are working as expected and meeting the needs of the business. Where necessary, provide support to facilitate problem solving to address gaps that are identified in our systems/processes.
What we're looking for...
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Operations Management or related field
  • 5+ years experience managing projects with demonstrated success.
  • Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies required. Certifications in Project Management preferred.
  • Experience with Continuous Improvement Project Management Methods a Plus
  • Communicates effectively and timely, verbally and in writing, to a diverse audience.
  • Excellent time-management with ability to manage schedules and meet deadlines.
  • Facilitate an overall work environment of mutual respect and collaboration.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives with minimal oversight.
  • Team orientated, highly collaborative, and excellent interpersonal skills.
