Overview
Bent Tubes in Neenah, WI is looking for an analytical Process Engineer to drive meaningful change for our business and help continually improve our day-to-day operations. This is a full-time, on-site position, and you'll typically work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

This role coordinates with sales, manufacturing, and customer service teams to ensure we design and create quality systems that fully meet each client's unique needs. You'll need an analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills, as you'll review our work processes and implement effective new strategies for improvement. Our Process Engineer will:
- Work with engineers and management to execute plans for improving operations, expanding products, and driving results
- Design new logistics, inventory control, and material flow systems
- Help keep projects on budget by estimating production costs, identifying cost-saving methods, and measuring how design changes affect costs
- Analyze project drawings and technical specifications and provide feedback as needed
- Ensure we meet deadlines by managing the production schedule and coordinating staff activities
- Establish quality control procedures and support production teams in resolving quality issues
- Quickly address and solve problems to help ensure client satisfaction and support business profitability
- Comply with all safety practices

- BS degree OR 2+ years of experience as a process/manufacturing/project engineer (or similar)
- Drafting standards knowledge (i.e., GD&T)
- Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel proficiency
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, Lean, and/or Six Sigma principles
- Willingness to learn new applications, manufacturing processes, quality systems, and automation techniques
- Ability to create and manage technical documents
- Ability to use CAD for 2D drafts and 3D models
- Ability to read tape measures and digital calipers
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and fulfill responsibilities
- Mechanical aptitude with solid diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical information in easy-to-understand terms
- Ability to troubleshoot fluid power systems
- Positive, collaborative, respectful, and customer service-focused attitude
- Motivated and goal-driven mentality
- Strong data analysis and performance evaluation skills
- Data entry and database management skills
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- 2+ years of experience in an OEM fabricator setting
- Experience using Epicor and CAD systems
- Hydraulic hose and fittings experience
- Familiarity with AC - IMACA 305 and 320 standards
