Salary Range: $63,900.00 - $95,900.00

Role Overview: Failure Analysis Engineers are a key resource for the manufacturing team, supporting validation of new processes or materials and the identification of issues and corrective actions.

Key Job Accountabilities
  • Support manufacturing by troubleshooting product failures in both manufacturing and customer sites.
  • Physical analysis of defective electronic, electrical and mechanical components.
  • Support introduction of new product, process or material by analysis of assemblies.
  • Monitor manufacturing processes using analysis test vehicles.
  • Operate a variety of lab equipment to complete analysis.
  • Generate reports to summarize findings using Google Workspace platform.
Additional Accountabilities
  • Assist in assessment and management of 3rd party services.
  • Research material properties and specifications and application.
  • Establish and document standard assessment practices.
  • Evaluate and purchase equipment to upgrade or meet new requirements.
  • Manage lab equipment maintenance and calibration.
  • Manage control consumable materials.
Education/Experience Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 3 to 5 years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electronics troubleshooting, failure analysis, rework or repair is preferred. Experience with in a regulated industry is a plus.
  • Hands‑on experience in failure analysis of PCBAs, boards, or systems.
  • Experience collaborating with cross‑functional engineering and manufacturing teams to drive corrective actions.
  • Intermediate verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and statistical analysis skills;
    Statistical Process Control software skills.
  • Lab tool, test, and measurement equipment experience preferred.
