Overview

Procurement Sr. Specialist, NA Engineering Services – Join the team behind iconic brands such as Huggies®, Kleenex®, and others at Kimberly‑Clark. In this role you will support the Enterprise Procurement Capital and Energy team by managing strategic sourcing activities within the indirect space, building category expertise in engineering services, and leading procurement initiatives across North America.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the Engineering Services, Machine Clothing, and Power Distribution categories.
  • Deliver segment procurement targets for categories in scope.
  • Coordinate with segment and enterprise stakeholders on category needs and strategy, gathering business requirements.
  • Execute category strategic initiatives and create & maintain category management knowledge and processes.
  • Lead supplier relationship management, negotiating pricing, terms, and conditions, and resolving continuity issues.
  • Monitor supplier performance indicators, conduct supplier reviews, and drive improvement and risk reduction.
  • Build trust with suppliers and stakeholders through clear communication and integrity.
  • Lead bidding processes, negotiate contracts, and manage the implementation of agreements.
  • Collaborate with the Agile Squad team on sourcing events, identifying and addressing barriers to change.
  • Ensure compliance with K‑C policies and internal controls.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of procurement experience, preferably in category management.
  • Strong analytical, business acumen, and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication; able to influence across the organization.
  • Ability to work independently in a heavily matrixed environment.
  • Willingness to travel to engage stakeholders and suppliers as required.
Salary

Salary Grade 9 – $105,740–$130,620 USD (U.S. positions only). Eligibility for a target bonus and comprehensive benefits including 401(k) and profit sharing.
