Analog Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Analog Design Engineer to join our team in Neenah, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be responsible for utilizing your expertise in AutoCAD Electrical to develop and design switchboards and low voltage (< 600 VAC) power distribution systems. You will ensure compliance with industry standards and demonstrate a deep understanding of various electrical components and systems to contribute to safe and efficient designs.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize AutoCAD Electrical to create Panel Drawings, One-Line Diagrams, Wiring Diagrams, and Bills of Materials.
  • Develop and design switchboards and low voltage (< 600 VAC) power distribution systems.
  • Ensure designs comply with industry standards such as UL 891, UL 489, NFPA 70E, UL 50, and the National Electric Code.
  • Demonstrate specific product knowledge in circuit breakers, bus bars, power metering, electrical safety/detection devices, and Modbus over TCP/IP.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the development of efficient and safe electrical systems.

Essential

Skills:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Experience in switchboard and panel design.
  • Ability to create wiring diagrams, single line diagrams, and Bills of Materials.
  • Familiarity with UL 891, UL 489, NFPA 70E, UL 50, and the National Electric Code.
  • Knowledge of circuit breakers, bus bars, power metering, and electrical safety/detection devices.

Additional Skills &

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent proven experience.
  • Proven product development experience in switchboards and low voltage power distribution systems.

Work Environment:

This position requires the use of AutoCAD Electrical software and demands adherence to industry safety and compliance standards. Collaboration with other engineers and departments is key to developing efficient and safe power distribution systems.
