Position Overview

This role entails reading books, offering back scratches, and plenty of laughs. Collaboration with the family will be key to implementing and maintaining best practices. Once comfortable, a nice walk to the park with chewy fidgets in tow to swing on the swings nearby would make for a great afternoon!

Please note that this is a dog‑friendly home.

Hours:

Weekdays 3PM‑7PM, 4‑Hour shift (Flexible)

• Personal care assistance (Toileting, changing as needed)
• Provide companionship and supervision
• Maintain self‑regulation and redirection as needed if behaviors are present
• Experience with seizures and administering medication (if needed); training will be provided
• Patience and understanding with communication done with AAC Device

• A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle are mandatory
• Candidates must be able to pass a Wisconsin caregiver background check
• A genuine enjoyment of working in the special needs Community
• Previous professional experience in caregiving is required, with a preference for those with backgrounds in ABA therapies, paraprofessional roles, educational support, behavioral techs, childcare, and similar fields
