This is an internship position (Non-Exempt Salary); the hourly range is stated below. The rate offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Hourly Rate: $20 - $24/hr.

OVERVIEW

The Human Resources (HR) Intern will support the human resources team. They will also gain and apply knowledge about Plexus' industry, infrastructure and business during the assignment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work closely with HR team to handle daily tasks, as well as assist in accomplishing long‑term projects and implementation of HR initiatives
  • Work closely with HR team to support employee relation activities including but not limited to: performance management, disciplinary actions, and investigations.
  • Support recruitment activities such as: posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews and becoming familiar with applicant tracking systems.
  • Assist in correspondence, research, and other HR matters under the direction and supervision of HR staff.
  • Assist with day-to-day administration needs as required.
  • Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing new hire packets and conducting orientation sessions as needed
  • Assist with compliance‑related tasks, such as maintaining I‑9 forms and other employee documentation
  • Additional duties as assigned by management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Student working toward a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field for the entire duration of internship.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Junior level status
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
