Job Title
Coordinates incoming and outgoing movement and storage of raw materials, finished products to ensure material availability and delivery when needed to meet production schedules. Compiles data on order volume, production schedules and forecasts and applies statistical methods to estimate future materials requirements. Provides leadership to managers; may also provide leadership to supervisors and/or professional staff.
Key Job Accountabilities- Implement and manage best practices within the materials organization regionally, including purchasing, warehouse functions, and inventory control to optimize systems and processes
- Ensure robust capacity planning processes are in place and utilized to facilitate optimum inventory positions and provide expertise and guidance in inventory control, purchasing, and planning
- Develop, monitor, and adjust metrics to align with organizational goals, and provide platforms for effective management processes from receiving customer demand to product delivery
- Focus on customer service excellence, problem-solving, and change management, and implement continuous improvement in all areas within the materials organization to maintain Materials Labor Cost at an optimum level
- Responsible for surge materials management support, achieving supply chain metrics, mentoring and guidance of junior staff, talent management, and serving as an escalation point in the management of shortages
- Responsible to exemplify and hold their team accountable to demonstrating the Plexus Core Values. Leader will focus on evaluating potential, driving succession planning, and ensuring their employees receive the development and coaching required to realize their full potential.
- Bachelor's Degree with 10 or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.

- Ability to work in a dynamic environment across various functional business groups.
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
- Strong Google Workspace or MS Office skills with advanced knowledge of Excel.
- General office equipment and materials.
- Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment. Minimal physical activity is generally involved, emphasizing the importance of good posture and ergonomic workplace arrangements.
