CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift Neenah, WI

Maxcess-Webex has produced precision rolls for the web handling and converting industry since 1972, expanding from idler rolls to a wide variety of specialty cylinders.

We are seeking a CNC Machinist for the 2nd Shift. Competitive pay and benefits are offered, along with a premium for 2nd Shift work.

• Demonstrated proficiency in setup and operation of a CNC Lathe with minimal supervision.
• Use blueprints and verbal instructions to select appropriate tooling, set up and operate the machine, determine speeds and feeds, and produce required products at acceptable standards of performance, quality, and safety.
• Understand CNC computer language and be able to write CNC Lathe programs from a blueprint.
• Use inspection and measuring instruments, including micrometers, bore gauges, and calipers.
• Spiral groove and hold close‑tolerance work to a specification of 0.0005 inch tolerance.
• Pass a shop math test.
• Follow written setup sheets and verbal setup instructions.
• Operate all support equipment, such as Boring Bar and Steady rest.
• Use CAD/CAM software or conversational programming tools.
