We are hiring a Warehouse Associate III – 2nd Shift at TIDI Products. This experienced position is responsible for utilizing a powered industrial truck to load and/or unload trailers, receive and process paperwork for incoming or outgoing parcel orders, and ensure proper procedures are followed to maintain a productive, safe, and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities- Safety:
- Safely operate any powered industrial truck and other supporting equipment.
- Participate in safety teams and proactively identify hazards, offering suggestions to correct them.
- Know how to lock in, enter, and exit a trailer following TIDI procedures.
- Wear PPE as required.
- Quality:
- Put away or replenish goods using the in‑house computer system.
- Ensure part number matches product.
- Complete required training on time.
- Pick customer orders accurately using the in‑house computer system.
- Configure pallets accurately.
- Load/unload incoming or outgoing orders using the in‑house computer system.
- Load trailer to configuration requirements.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area at all times.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Production:
- Move finished goods or raw materials to designated area of the plant using the in‑house computer system and powered industrial trucks.
- Remove garbage and recycling from designated work areas.
- Replenish pallets as needed.
- Demonstrate and actively support TIDI Products core values and guiding principles.
- Work within a Lean Management System to drive positive changes.
- Pick customer orders accurately based on orders sheet using powered industrial trucks.
- Load or unload trailers using powered industrial trucks.
- Pick and process parcel customer orders.
- Complete full dock functions per proper procedures.
- Complete trailer paperwork per proper procedures.
- Perform other job duties as required.
- Leadership:
- Capable of training other associates.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience desired.
- Experience in manufacturing or production related fields.
- Computer aptitude.
- Read, write, and comprehend simple instructions in English.
- Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to other employees.
- Apply basic understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
