Position Summary

We are a multi-faceted company, specializing in sales, manufacture, service, and inspection of industrial lift equipment; specifically, overhead, manual, and electrical hoists and crane systems. We are currently seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will perform welding operations using various equipment and instruments, ensuring high-quality and precise work. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working with metals, capable of working within specified tolerances, and adhere to safety protocols.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Follow blueprints to meet product specifications.
  • Calculate material measurements to verify specifications.
  • Understand welding machine operation.
  • Perform all functions associated with welding preparation and welding.
  • Conduct appropriate quality checks of equipment.
  • Determine correct machine settings and tolerances.
  • Monitors work environment for hazards and maintains healthy ventilation levels to avoid particle or gas inhalation.
Education & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • TIG welding experience preferred, but not required.
  • Must have basic skill set to operate all welding tools safely and effectively.
  • Ability to work independently in a production-oriented environment.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (over 50 pounds).
