Outlook Group is looking for an experienced 2nd shift Digital Hybrid Press Operator to join our team. You will set up, operate, and maintain the press to produce high-quality labels. This role requires sharp attention to detail, strong technical troubleshooting, and a commitment to precision.
This is a 2nd shift opportunity:
- Monday - Friday 2pm - 10pm
Responsibilities include:
- Set up and operate the Domino digital hybrid press according to job specifications.
- Load substrates, install flexo plates, mix inks, and manage digital print queues.
- Monitor print quality continuously to catch color shifts, registration issues, or defects.
- Adjust press settings, UV curing units, and die-cutting components during production runs.
- Perform routine maintenance, printhead cleaning, and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
- Review job tickets to ensure correct materials, inks, and finishing tools are used.
- Maintain accurate production logs, material usage records, and waste counts.
Qualified applicants will have:
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years operating digital inkjet or flexographic web presses.
- Equipment Knowledge: Direct experience with Domino N610i or similar hybrid presses preferred.
- Technical
Skills:
Strong understanding of color management, registration, and web tension. - Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Detail-Oriented: Excellent color vision and ability to spot minor printing defects.
