Position Summary This is an opportunity that offers hands-on experience in the corrugate packaging & display industry. The applicant will support the design team by executing the essential job functions required.
Essential Job Functions- Cut and assemble samples for design review
- Develop assembly instructions for new products
- Create pallet patterns for efficient shipping
- Support the design team in their day-to-day tasks
- Build mock-ups to visualize design concepts
- Assist with preparing displays for ship testing
- Perform administrative tasks
- Ensures and supports to make sure Food safety, Quality, HACCP and GMP is always followed
- Other duties as assigned
Enrolled in the final year of a packaging/industrial design-related program at an accredited college or university
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience in 2D & 3D design platforms is beneficial
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment and take direction from senior team members
- Self-motivated and proactive approach to work, with the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to learn new skills quickly
- Passion for design and interest in the industry
Primarily works in an office environment with occasional time spent in a production and/or warehouse setting Position will be based at Menasha Packaging site Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs., occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
