We are looking for an Equipment Operator II to join our industrial manufacturing team. Your primary focus will be the safe operation of machinery, conducting routine troubleshooting, verifying product quality, and ensuring all production logs are kept up to date.
Role OverviewWe are looking for an Equipment Operator II to join our industrial manufacturing team. Your primary focus will be the safe operation of machinery, conducting routine troubleshooting, verifying product quality, and ensuring all production logs are kept up to date.
Core Duties- Ensure the efficient and safe operation of industrial manufacturing machinery.
- Oversee production processes while addressing minor technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Conduct essential quality inspections to help uphold our high standards for finished goods.
- Maintain precise records regarding production output, waste management, and quality metrics.
- Adhere to all established safety protocols and utilize required personal protective equipment to foster a secure environment.
- Assist with facility maintenance to ensure a clean and organized workspace for the entire team.
- Manage diverse tasks autonomously within a high-speed production setting.
- Completion of a High School diploma, GED, or an equivalent credential.
- Between one and three years of relevant industrial or manufacturing experience, or comparable military service.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Availability to commit to a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, which includes nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
- Physical capacity to lift 50 lbs. and engage in regular bending, twisting, crouching, stair climbing, and gripping.
- Willingness to work in environments that may involve exposure to dust, noise, and various industrial chemicals.
- Prior background operating forklifts, industrial tractors, or manufacturing machinery is highly desirable.
- Foundational technical or mechanical aptitude within a manufacturing context.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement effective solutions.
- Practical experience operating industrial tractors or forklifts.
