Registered Nurse

Overview

The OR Registered Nurse uses their knowledge and expertise to provide exemptional patient care during the surgical phase of care by working closely with the Physicians and Anesthesiologists by following their recommendations and protocols while supervising and directing patient care in a single operating room. The Registered Nurse participates as a team member in support of the total perioperative process by assisting the Surgeon, Anesthesiologist, Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs), and Surgical Technologists during, before, and after the surgical procedure.

This position is a 0.8 FTE (32 hours per week).

Education and Experience:

• Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse License.
• Must be BLS and ACLS Certified within six (6) months of hire and maintain certification throughout employment.
• Prior experience in an ASC or operating room environment is strongly preferred.
