The organization is seeking a Medical Surgical Neurology Floor (MS NEURO) registered nurse (RN) for a 12-hour days shift at a healthcare facility in Neenah, Wisconsin. The position involves providing specialized care primarily to stroke and post-operative patients from brain, neck, and spine surgeries. The RN will perform duties on a neurological unit that accommodates neurology and trauma patients, ensuring quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

• Schedule:
  
  12-hour days, with shift hours from 0530 to 1800, and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  
  WI RN (or compact) license, AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), a minimum of 3 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year in Medical Surgical Neuro or Stepdown ICU, and 1 travel contract preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Experience in stroke, post-op back/spine/cervical surgeries, and charting experience in Electronic Patient Record systems (EPIC) within the last year.
• Shift Requirements: 12-hour days, up to every other weekend, holiday rotation based on unit needs, and float coverage within the facility over a 60-mile radius.
• Additional Information:
  The unit handles neurological, trauma, and medical patients, mostly post-stroke and post-op from various brain and neck surgeries. Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:5, with staffing including RNs, patient care technicians, and LPNs. Candidates should demonstrate resilience, strong work ethic, adaptability, and social skills. Previous travel experience strongly preferred.
