    • Recommend more efficient, accurate, and quality‑oriented processes that enhance overall performance and reduce defects.
    • Identify opportunities to improve workflow, documentation, material flow, and process capability.
    • Collaborate with engineering and operations to implement continuous improvement initiatives, Lean concepts, and data‑driven enhancements.
  • Customer Interface and Issue Resolution
    • Serve as the primary quality representative to the supporting aerospace company.

    • Maintain professional, proactive communication that strengthens customer trust and alignment.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with sales, purchasing, production, quoting, and contract management to establish quality procedures that meet customer expectations.
    • Participate in new program kickoffs to ensure alignment on requirements, timelines, and quality deliverables.
    • Support contract review processes by validating feasibility of quality requirements and assessing potential risks.
  • Supplier Quality
    • Interface with suppliers to address issues involving materials, components, and purchased parts.
    • Support supplier containment, corrective action, and verification activities.
    • Assist in evaluating supplier capabilities and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Root‑Cause Analysis and Corrective/Preventive Actions
    • Provide hands‑on support to manufacturing teams to investigate defects and nonconformances.
    • Use systematic problem‑solving tools such as 5‑Why, Fishbone diagrams, fault‑tree analysis, and 8D processes.
    • Implement corrective and preventive actions that address underlying causes and prevent recurrence.
    • Verify and validate effectiveness of corrective actions through follow‑up audits, data review, and trend analysis.
  • Quality Management System Support
    • Assist in defining, monitoring, and improving the Quality Management System (QMS).
    • Support internal audits, document updates, procedural reviews, and compliance verification.
