Quality Engineer
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer to maintain and enhance our Quality Management System (QMS). The role involves managing customer quality issues, developing quality metrics, leading inspection activities, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within our manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS), including NCR, CAR, RCA, 8D, ECN, and internal audit processes.
- Manage customer quality issues, complaints, and warranty claims, ensuring timely root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Develop and track quality metrics and KPIs to monitor product, process, and supplier performance.
- Lead inspection activities across supplier, receiving, in-process, and final inspection for fabricated sheet metal components.
- Qualify, onboard, and develop suppliers to ensure compliance with quality and fabrication standards.
- Support production through NCR management, quality training, and collaboration with manufacturing and engineering teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing scrap, rework, and process inefficiencies in fabrication operations.
- Promote a strong safety and quality culture throughout the manufacturing floor.

Additional Skills &
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of quality assurance experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Preferred experience in metal fabrication, welding, painting processes, Solid Works, PDM/MRP/ERP systems, and drafting standards (ANSI Y14).
- Experience with ISO 9001 and/or Lean Six Sigma certification is preferred.
Work Environment:
This role involves working closely with production and engineering teams in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The candidate will engage in inspection activities and quality management processes, promoting a culture of safety and quality on the manufacturing floor.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Neenah, WI.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
