Repair Coordinator

Under the guidance of the Shop Manager, the Repair Coordinator oversees, coordinates, and prioritizes all service work performed in shop departments, including rework, mechanical, machine, and mechanical field services. They will be the point of contact to support customers when necessary.

• Schedule and prioritize workflow between departments, including rush jobs and route repair.
• Gather incoming job information and enter into Net Suite to create the RMA and case.
• E‑mail customer with receipt of asset with picture.
• Source parts, drawings, enter parts orders, and expedite as needed.
• Coordinate all interdepartmental work to ward job completion within quotas.
• Log incoming jobs and maintain status of each.
• Manage walk‑in traffic for shop location (if applicable).
• Adhere to all customer guidelines and pricing accordingly.
• Collect all necessary information including name, plate in format and take digital pictures of incoming jobs.
• Assist and advise shop supervisors as needed in repair or replacement work.
• Produce technical drawings and/or illustrations as necessary.
• Answer phone calls, follow up on customer experience and log feedback.
• Some shipping and receiving duties.
• Participate in sales and shop meetings as necessary.
• Complete job costing, and invoice once the POD has been returned to Kurz.
• Learn key Shop Supervisor responsibilities to assist in their absence.

• High School Diploma is required. Associate's degree in related field is preferred.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Previous experience in an industrial, electro‑mechanical, distribution or manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Must be a self‑starter and able to work independently.
• Must have the ability to function in a fast‑paced environment – organization, multi‑tasking, and prioritizing.
