Position Summary

A Shift Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty to CVS/pharmacy through a focus on excellent customer service. In the absence of a manager or Operations Supervisor, the Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth store operations, and is responsible for completing all opening and closing procedures.

• Work effectively with store management and crew
• Supervise the store's crew by assigning, directing, and following up on all activities
• Effectively communicate information to and from store management and crews

• Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints
• Promote the CVS customer service culture by greeting, offering help, and thanking
• Handle all customer relations issues in accordance with company policy to promote a positive shopping experience for all CVS customers
• Maintain customer/patient confidentiality

• Price merchandise
• Stock shelves
• Execute displays, signs, and inventory of weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise
• Execute display and maintenance of off-shelf merchandise
• Reset departments following POGs

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills
• Advanced communication and supervision skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, weekend shifts, as well as overtime and urgent issues as needed

• Experience as a retail supervisor

High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Part time

The typical pay range for this role is $16.50 - $24.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
