Job Description ROLE OVERVIEW
  • Amcor is currently seeking an individual to join our Neenah Maintenance team! A Millwright supports maintenance of all machinery in the Neenah Amcor facility.
COMPENSATION
  • Starting pay is $38.04/hour + Double Time on Sunday's and Holidays!
SHIFT
  • 12‑hour rotating shift (6:30‑6:30) switching from days to nights. Employees work either 3 or 4 shifts in a row. Each set of shifts is either days or nights. In between those sets of shifts, employees get 1, 3, or 7 days off in a row depending on where they are in the 28‑day shift rotation.

Valid WI State Journeyman Card required for Millwright.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO
  • Plan and implement work, including efforts with outside contractors.
  • Plan modified installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, and avoid unsightly, hazardous and unreliable wiring, consistent with specifications of local/national electric codes; use/follow design specifications to properly install new equipment; calculate loads of equipment for proper installation.
  • Prepare sketches or follow diagrams or blueprints, ensuring that concealed wiring is installed before completion of future walls, ceilings, and flooring.
  • Use test instruments to troubleshoot/repair equipment.
  • Evaluate and return instruments for repair and calibration.
  • Operate forklifts and scissor lifts; adhere to all plant and equipment safety requirements; serve and consult in matters involving safety.
  • Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled.
  • Practice safety at all times in compliance with company safety mission and philosophy, including following lock‑out/tag‑out, electrical hot‑work and confined space entry procedures.
  • Adhere to plant housekeeping requirements and follow all good manufacturing practices.
  • Adhere to all GMP and AIB policies and procedures.
  • Be responsible for the safe proper use and care of shop tools and equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and use basic shop inspection tools and equipment to ensure parts meet defined tolerance and quality expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory agency standards, as well as Amcor safety policies.
  • May perform installation and maintenance work as part of a team of skilled trades workers.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.
