Electro Mechanical Technician Trainee

Role Overview

An entry‑level position under the guidance of the Shop Manager that provides hands‑on support to Electric Motor Mechanics, Winders, and Machinists on equipment repairs. • Disassemble electro‑mechanical equipment, noting parts identification, configuration, and condition
• Clean equipment assemblies using various methods, including parts washers and steamers
• Lift, tighten, adjust, and secure heavy objects to perform work duties
• Dismantle and strip damaged or unserviceable electro‑mechanical equipment
• Assist in rewinding various types of electro‑mechanical equipment
• Follow all safety procedures and use proper protective equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to company policies and perform other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma required;
  Technical Certification or Associate Degree in a related field preferred
• Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of electrical theory and AC/DC motors preferred
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products is a must
• Self‑starter with ability to work independently
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced shop environment
