Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Field Service Technician role based in Neenah, WI. The Field Service Technician will travel to customer locations to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair compressed air equipment and related components. Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, documenting service activities, recommending replacement parts or system upgrades, and supporting rebuilds and installations as needed. The role involves using diagnostic tools, following safety procedures, and communicating clearly with customers about equipment status and service options.
The technician will collaborate with the service team, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely, professional service delivery in the field.
- Technical skills in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, with the ability to diagnose issues in compressors and related equipment.
- Experience with equipment maintenance and repair, including use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to assess equipment performance and identify effective solutions.
- Clear, professional communication skills for interacting with customers and documenting service work.
- Ability to work independently in the field, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple service calls.
- Comfort with on-site work, including driving to customer locations in various weather conditions.
- Commitment to safety practices, including adherence to company and customer safety policies.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance, HVAC, or a related field is beneficial.
- Previous experience in field service, industrial equipment, or compressed air systems is an advantage.
- Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company requirements.
