Senior Technical Sales Representative in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga
A dynamic company in the fluid power industry is looking for a Senior Technical Sales Representative to join their team in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga.
Minimum Requirements:- Matric with Mathematics and Science
- Computer literacy
- Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- At least five years’ sales experience in the fluid power industry
- Hydraulic and/or pneumatics training completed through a MerSETA-accredited training provider
- Hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge or experience
- Knowledge of the SYSPRO ERP system will be advantageous
- Willingness and ability to work underground
- Medically fit to perform the required duties
The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, motivated, and results-driven. They should have strong negotiation and communication skills, be reliable, ethical, and well-organised.
Key Responsibilities:- Achieve annual gross-profit and sales targets
- Visit existing customers in line with weekly activity targets
- Complete and maintain accurate call reports
- Manage customer information, feedback and account platforming
- Respond to customer enquiries promptly
- Prepare accurate quotations within the required turnaround times
- Maintain excellent levels of customer service
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing customers
- Develop new business and achieve customer-acquisition targets
- Provide accurate information internally
- Assist with tenders where applicable
- Prepare and present sales reports at management sales meetings
- Comply with reporting requirements
