position summary

the testing services and library circulation coordinator position serves as the primary testing administrator and is responsible for the oversight, coordination, and continuous improvement of testing services across crowder college locations. This position manages testing systems, scheduling, compliance, and operations to ensure secure, efficient, and accessible administration of institutional and standardized examinations. This position collaborates with information services to maintain systems, ensures testing readiness across sites, and provides proctoring support as needed.

They also provides support for library circulation, patron assistance, and public service functions, and assists with daily library operations to enhance student service and staff flexibility.

  • coordinate and oversee daily testing center operations across all locations, including staffing, scheduling, appointment systems, testing volume, space utilization, equipment, and materials.
  • administer and coordinate placement, certification, standardized, distance, remote, course-related, and other approved examinations; serve as a certified proctor and provide proctoring support as needed.
  • serve as the primary administrator and functional owner of testing platforms, scheduling systems, and online registration tools, collaborating with information services and vendors to maintain and troubleshoot systems, software, and equipment.
  • develop, implement, and maintain testing procedures that ensure compliance with institutional policies, accreditation requirements, missouri state compliance, vendor standards, accessibility requirements, and testing security protocols.
  • protect the confidentiality, security, and integrity of testing materials, credentials, records, data, and testing environments.
  • coordinate appropriate testing accommodations in collaboration with accessibility services, faculty, and other departments.
  • maintain required testing records and documentation; collect, analyze, and report participation, usage, and operational data to support compliance, planning, and decision-making.
  • develop and maintain testing-related forms, instructional materials, procedures, and communications; recommend and implement improvements to testing processes, systems, and service delivery.
  • support daily library circulation operations by providing customer service, checking materials in and out, responding to account inquiries, assisting patrons with library technology and equipment, and helping with opening and/or closing procedures.
  • collaborate and cross-train with library staff to support testing, circulation, and special projects.
