Assistant Director of Operations
Neosho SD Operations – Neosho, Missouri. This position is also posted in Neosho School District.
Position Type: Full‑Time
Emergency Planning & Drills- Develop & maintain the district Emergency Operations Plan (EOP)
- Coordinate all required drills — fire, lockdown, tornado, evacuation, intruder
- Annual physical security site assessment at each building
- Coordinate with law enforcement, fire, and emergency management
- Oversight of access control, cameras, and visitor management (with Technology)
- Anti‑intruder classroom door lock program
- Regular building walkthroughs for vulnerabilities
- Coordinate safety‑related needs with Facilities
- FEMA ICS‑100 / ICS‑200 certification
- CPR/AED and Stop the Bleed training coordination
- Bleeding control kit placement and drill integration
- Annual active threat response training for staff
- Primary contact during emergencies; first responder coordination
- District‑level support for Behavioral Threat Assessment
- Safety incident and credible threat reporting to DESE
- Maintain incident records and after‑action documentation
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required
