The Neosho School District is seeking a 5th Grade Teacher for the 2026/2027 school year who will serve as an instructional leader in the classroom and building.
Primary Tasks & Major Activities- Provide high-quality instruction aligned to district curriculum and grade-level expectations
- Serve as an instructional leader through inquiry-based and project-based learning
- Collaborate within a Professional Learning Community (PLC) to plan curriculum, create common assessments, and analyze student data
- Use research-based instructional strategies and authentic assessment practices to inform instruction
- Deliver intentional and differentiated instruction based on individual student data
- Maintain effective classroom management and foster positive student relationships
- Support character development and maintain strong parent/teacher communication
- Participate in district and building professional development and grade-level collaboration
- Work successfully as part of a highly collaborative instructional team
- Support and follow district and building vision and initiatives
- Valid Missouri teaching certification appropriate to grade level
- Strong instructional, classroom management, and interpersonal skills
