Social Studies Teacher for the 26/27 School Year at Neosho High School, Neosho SD. Starting Date:
Aug 11, 2026.

• Instructional leader in classroom and building.
• Work with a team in a Professional Learning Communities (PLC) setting.
• Curriculum planning.
• Instruction through inquiry and project‑based learning.
• Create common team assessment and provide meaningful assessments of learning.
• Deliver intentional/differentiated instruction using individual student data.
• Accountable for classroom management.
• Provide appropriate student instruction in accordance with the district’s grade level curriculum.
• Use research‑based instructional strategies.
• Participate in district and building professional development opportunities.
• Participate in grade level and building development.
• Work successfully as part of a highly collaborative team.
• Use authentic assessment techniques to drive instruction.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills and interpersonal relations.
• Focus on character building and parent/teacher relationships.
• Willingness to follow district and building vision.

Current Missouri Certification in Social Science 9‑12. Strong experience integrating technology into the classroom. Self‑starter with growth mindset for self and students. Willingness to learn new things and understand and support the District’s Comprehensive School Improvement Plan.

Position Type:

Salary: $44,000 Per Year
