Production Operator – 2nd Shift
Shift: 2nd Shift – 3:00pm to 11:30pm — Pay: $20.96 per hour
Nutra Blend is an industry leader in manufacturing and distributing quality vitamin, trace mineral, micro‑ingredients and antibiotic premixes for the feed industry. The Production Operator is the front‑line employee who performs the manufacturing processes that add value and quality to the inputs and create the final high‑quality products. The role may include receiving and handling raw materials, adding value through proprietary processes, and packaging the final product.
Safety, attention to detail, quality and sanitation focus, and efficiency are key to success.
6+ months of manufacturing experience and basic computer skills.
Minimum Qualifications- Age
18years or older - Comprehension – ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Critical Thinking – using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Safety – ensuring the complete physical safety of oneself and co‑workers at all times.
- Time Management – showing up on time, reliably completing tasks by the deadline, adapting to changes with minimal supervision.
- Coordination – working well with others to meet team goals and adjusting to important changes.
- Active Learning – understanding the implications of new information for current and future problem solving and decision making.
- Active Listening – giving full attention to others, taking time to understand points being made, and asking appropriate questions.
Regularly able to lift 50lbs. Frequent walking, standing, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and other active movements. Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment. Working across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments, dust exposure, and extended periods of work. Shift schedules may include days, nights, weekends, some holidays, and periodic overtime.
Wage and BenefitsCompetitive salary of $20.96 per hour with bonus potential. Comprehensive benefits package and additional company‑sponsored benefits are available. Applicants must successfully pass a pre‑employment background check.
