Production Technician

Responsibilities
  • Work 12‑hour rotating shifts in a 24/7/365 operating environment.
  • Start up and shut down equipment and processes, and monitor and adjust equipment and plant process operating parameters.
  • Perform valve line‑ups accurately and safely.
  • Prepare equipment for maintenance activities, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
  • Safely issue and manage permits for maintenance work.
  • Exercise sound judgment to operate the facility safely, reliably, and efficiently.
  • Assist with procedure development and train new employees.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and suppliers as needed.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting on equipment and processes.
  • Recognize when issues require escalation to more experienced specialists.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.
  • Demonstrate initiative, dependability, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
What Makes You Great
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • More than two (2+) years of production operations experience, or an Associate Degree with previous plant operations internship experience.
  • Strong interest in and hands‑on experience with electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Working knowledge of computers and common software applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office programs.
  • Proficiency using hand tools, meters, instrument calibration equipment, and related tools.
  • Working knowledge of electricity, electrical systems, and motors.
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs, work at heights, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Associate Degree or higher is preferred.
