Production Operator - 1st Shift

Job Summary

Nutra Blend is an industry leader in manufacturing and distributing quality vitamin, trace mineral, micro‑ingredients and antibiotic premixes for the feed industry. The Production Operator is a front‑line employee responsible for performing manufacturing processes that add value and quality to inputs and produce final high‑quality products.

The operator performs a variety of duties within the job family, ranging from receiving raw materials, adding value through proprietary processes, to packaging final product. At every stage, safety, attention to detail, quality, sanitation, and efficiency are essential.

• At least 6 months of manufacturing experience
• Basic computer skills

• Age 18 years or older
• Comprehension:
  Ability to read, write, and understand verbal and written instructions

  Use logic and reasoning to evaluate alternatives
• Safety:
  Ensure the physical safety of oneself and coworkers at all times
• Time Management:

• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Frequent movement: walking, standing, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, climbing, etc.
• Perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment
• Operate in temperature zones that may be hot or cold, including dust environments
• Shift schedules include day, night, weekend, holiday, and periodic overtime
