Role: Quality Technician
Location: Trouw Nutrition – 1440 Malcolm Mosby, Neosho, MO
Hours: M-F (6 am-2:30 pm)

About the RoleOwn quality and compliance as a Quality Technician at Trouw Nutrition. You will take end‑to‑end responsibility for accurate and timely quality control and in‑process testing of incoming materials, in‑process production, and finished products. Following established test protocols and SOPs, you’ll identify, document, and escalated deviations and trends, ensuring data integrity and compliance with applicable quality and food/feed safety standards (including ISO 9001/17025).
You’ll record results in quality systems, support continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate closely with internal teams and external testing partners.
- Execute quality control and in‑process testing of materials and finished products.
- Follow test protocols, SOPs and records data accurately.
- Identify, document, and report deviations and trends with clear communication.
- Maintain data integrity and compliance with ISO 9001/17025 and food/feed safety standards.
- Record results in quality systems and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external testing partners to ensure critical quality data is shared and acted upon.
We are looking for a detail‑driven quality professional who truly owns the role, takes accountability for safety, data integrity, and compliance while working both independently and collaboratively.
- Knowledge of food or feed quality; food manufacturing experience preferred.
- Hands‑on experience performing quality control procedures.
- Strong foundation in food or feed safety regulations and quality management systems.
- Technical and analytical skills: attention to detail, data analysis, trend identification, and proper escalation of non‑conformities.
- Core competencies:
accountability for data integrity → “Own It” mindset, teamwork, documentation, communication, fluent English, proficiency in MS Office, solid math and deductive reasoning, organizational and time‑management skills. - Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
- Team‑oriented approach, high attention to detail, ability to multi‑task in a production environment.
- Relevant certification (HACCP and/or PCQI) is an asset.
