Second Shift Maintenance Technician

Location:

Companion Animal – Neosho, Missouri

Hours:

Monday–Friday, 1pm–9pm (2nd Shift)

Overview

Trouw Nutrition, a Nutreco company, is a global leader in animal nutrition and aquafeed. This role supports the production of feed in a sustainable way, enabling the company to help feed the growing global population.

Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, including grinding, mixing, and bag‑filling equipment.
  • Conduct scheduled inspections and troubleshoot malfunctions, proposing effective solutions.
  • Communicate process deviations, order spare parts, and support R&D labs and utility facilities.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area in strict compliance with quality and safety regulations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production reliability.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years of maintenance experience on industrial machinery.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical installations (e.g., grinders, mixers, bag‑fillers).
  • Hands‑on experience with pneumatic conveying, auger conveying, rotary valves, pneumatics, dust collection, and control wiring.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Proactive problem‑solving and task prioritization abilities.
