Job Summary
Drives truck with a capacity of more than 3 tons, to transport materials to and from specified destinations.
Job Responsibilities- Transports and spots trailers for shipping and receiving.
- Checks vehicle lights, signals, etc. to ensure proper operation.
- Maintains loaded and empty trailers in designated locations.
- Ensures all heavy loaded trailers are parked on appropriate surfaces.
- Opens trailer doors on all LZB trailers.
- Performs CTPAT functions when required.
- Organizes trailer yard and performs regular inventories.
- Follows health and safety standards.
- Maintains a clean work area.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the above duties.
- Excellent attendance.
- Active Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Must be able to meet the qualifications noted in the company’s Driver Management Program to be considered for the role.
Weekly hours: 40.
