Overview
Envisage International, founded in 2005, is a leading international student anc cultural exchange health insurance company with our headquarters in Neptune Beach, Florida. We are seeking a dependable Part-Time Accountant/Bookkeeper to support our Director of Accounting with ongoing accounting operations. This role is well suited for an experienced accounting professional seeking flexible, part-time work. Expectations are about 15-20 hours per week with a very flexible schedule.
Responsibilities- Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Perform revenue recognition in accordance with established policies
- Complete monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Oversee invoicing, billing, and cash application
- Prepare supporting schedules for monthly financial reporting
- Coordinate with the Director of Accounting and external accountants
- Accounting degree or equivalent professional experience
- Practical experience with revenue recognition and month-end close support
- Proficiency in Quick Books or similar accounting software
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently
