Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle payroll operations for over 44,000 employees in a healthcare setting, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Perform detailed retroactive payroll calculations and audits as required, adhering strictly to wage and hour regulations.
- Handle payroll system integrations and troubleshoot vendor interface issues to maintain seamless functionality.
- Utilize ADP Workforce Now and People Soft systems to administer payroll activities effectively.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll regulations, including FMLA and FLSA requirements.
- Collaborate with HR to address payroll-related inquiries and provide technical support.
- Oversee garnishments, tax payments, and wage disbursements using Smart Compliance integrations.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail in all payroll activities.
- Conduct audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
- Support organizational payroll projects, including retroactive adjustments and compliance initiatives. Requirements - Minimum of 10 years' experience managing payroll operations in a large-scale organization.
- Expertise in multi-state payroll processes and compliance standards.
- Advanced knowledge of ADP Workforce Now, People Soft HR, and payroll systems.
- Proven ability to manage payroll for organizations with over 500 employees.
- Strong understanding of FMLA, FLSA, and other applicable labor laws.
- Certification in payroll systems and processes is highly desirable.
- Technical proficiency in troubleshooting payroll system issues and vendor integrations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in payroll management.
