Certification Details
- Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse (RN) role requiring readiness to care for patients in emergency situations.
- Provide specialized and innovative services in the ED.
- Handle a variety of trauma situations requiring quick and decisive actions.
- Assess incoming patients with physical and mental health conditions and prioritize their injuries and medical needs.
Job Details
- Minimum 18 months of nursing experience working in an ED environment.
- ED experience within the past six months.
- Demonstrated level of performance and practice required.
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Effective communication with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
- ASN required; BSN preferred.
- NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license required.
Job Requirements
- Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (3 x 12)
- Every other weekend required
- Holidays required as needed
- No on-call requirement
- No float requirement
Schedule Information
- Telemetry experience required
Unit Specific Information
- Proficient in emergency medicine.
- CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours required.
