Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient assessment and assists physicians in delivering high-quality care within a busy medical-surgical and telemetry unit. They develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring patient safety and comfort through evidence-based nursing practices.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient conditions and identify care priorities through thorough assessments.
• Develop, coordinate, and revise personalized care plans based on patient needs, medical diagnoses, and clinical observations.
• Perform therapeutic interventions and manage patient care in alignment with professional standards.
• Document care activities accurately, adhering to clinical protocols and patient acuity levels.
• Advocate for evidence-based practices and support the integration of innovative care delivery methods.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient flow and optimal outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Hold a minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a medical-surgical/telemetry unit within a major acute care hospital.
• Possess an ASN degree; BSN preferred.
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in New Jersey or hold a multi-state compact license.
• Maintain current certifications: NIHSS, BLS-AHA, Telemetry, CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, teamwork, and compassion in a fast-paced environment.
