Job DescriptionFor an interim assignment, we are looking for a Workplace Learning & Human Performance Specialist to strengthen learning and development within a production organization. The Workplace Learning & Human Performance Specialist will help embed a strong learning culture, translate an existing learning strategy into practical actions, and support leaders and trainers in improving skills, performance, and operational results.
Responsibilities- Promote and further develop the site’s learning and development vision and translate it into clear initiatives and local ways of working
- Implement and professionalize workplace learning and on-the-job training across departments
- Coach and support leaders, employees, trainers, workplace coaches, and assessors on workplace learning and performance improvement
- Analyse capability and performance gaps and translate findings into practical learning solutions
- Design and implement workplace training programs, learning pathways, performance support tools, and assessment approaches
- Develop and manage role-based growth paths, competency levels, and qualification structures
- Ensure training records, qualifications, and learning activities are properly maintained in the Learning Management System (LMS)
- Work with external training partners to strengthen craftsmanship and skills development
- Connect learning initiatives to operational performance and continuous improvement goals, ensuring sustainable result
- HBO level of working and thinking
- At least 5 years of experience in a production and/or process industry environment (food manufacturing is a strong advantage)
- Proven experience delivering learning & development and continuous improvement results in a production setting (workplace learning / human performance)
- A completed degree in Learning & Development / Training & Education (or a similar HBO background with a didactic focus)
- Knowledge of, or experience with, the 70:20:10 learning model and implementing workplace learning approaches
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trust quickly at all levels on site
- Fluent in Dutch (required to work effectively with the production organization)
- Temporary Full-Time Contract (6 Months)
This is a hands-on role in a professional production environment, with strong visibility across the organization and the opportunity to leave improvements in place that will continue after the assignment ends.
