Do you think it is important that asylum seekers are well prepared for their asylum procedure? Then come and provide them with information and personal guidance.

What are you going to do?
Volunteers provide asylum seekers with information about the Dutch asylum procedure and Dutch policy to prepare asylum seekers as best as possible for their procedure. We explain the various organizations involved and explain the steps in the procedure and Dutch policy. We guide asylum seekers in legal and social areas. We support people individually, so if desired we can discuss their personal situation and reason for fleeing.

We also offer support if people want to have evidence submitted. We use an interpreter over the telephone for most conversations.

What are we asking?
We are looking for committed people with a down-to-earth attitude, HBO thinking level, who are available for at least 2 half-days a week. No legal knowledge is necessary! Dutch, English and preferably other languages.

What do we have to offer you?
Vluchtelingen Werk Oost Nederland offers professional guidance, an induction program, a training offer, expense reimbursement and an interesting workplace.

What makes the work worth it?
You stand up for the rights of refugees. You help them build a new life in the Netherlands. Vluchtelingen Werk stands for humanity and the right to live in safety.

Working hours
On working days. At least two half days a week.
