International Sales Manager

As  International Sales Manager , you are responsible for the daily and strategic management of international retail and trade customers. You combine commercial drive with analytical and structured thinking and contribute actively to the further professionalization and growth of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the daily and structural sales activities towards retail and trade customers.

Develop and expand existing customer relations while identifying and acquiring opportunities.

Independently manage strategic retail accounts within the European market.

Recognize customer needs and proactively translate them into commercial opportunities.

Monitor customer performance, margins and KPIs and initiate corrective actions where required.

Contribute to commercial planning, forecasting and annual target achievement.

Coordinate closely across departments to ensure operational excellence.

Support the professionalization and digitization of commercial processes.

Stay closely informed about market developments, competition and retail dynamics.

Provide commercial input towards sourcing and category development.

Report directly to the Commercial Management / Director of Sales.

Job requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working/thinking level.

Several years of commercial experience within fresh produce, preferably fruits or exotics.

Strong understanding of retail and/or international trade sales.

Familiar with the dynamics and fast-changing environment of the fresh produce sector.

Strong analytical and commercial capabilities.

Experience in managing customer relationships independently.

Structured and solution-oriented way of working

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Fluent in English, spoken and written

Language skills such as Spanish, German or Eastern European languages are considered a plus.
