Overview
You are not just any trader, you are the gamechanger for our dairy market in Spain. With your pioneering spirit and entrepreneurial mindset, you dive into the buying and selling of butter and cheese with full conviction. You know the market inside out and have an instinctive feel for Spanish culture. With sharp commercial skills, you travel across Spain and beyond, visiting customers, suppliers, and international trade fairs.

You build strong relationships and close deals others can only dream of. You are the go‑to expert for your market, knowing your clients and suppliers better than anyone else, and acting as their trusted partner.

From our headquarters in ’s-Hertogenbosch, you work closely with the commercial team. Together, you draft a razor‑sharp weekly trading plan and adapt flexibly to a fast‑changing market. You also visit our Nederweert location regularly, where you taste and assess products to stay truly connected to what you buy and sell. That is how you stay in touch with both the process and the quality that Geris stands for.

Responsibilities

• Buy and sell butter and cheese across the Spanish market.

• Analyse market trends and make rapid adjustments to trading strategies.

• Meet with customers, suppliers, and trade fair exhibitors.

• Maintain weekly trading plans and report results to the commercial team.

• Provide product tasting and assessment at the Nederweert location.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimise processes and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably with an international focus.

Fluent in Spanish and English;
Dutch is a plus.

Experience in sales or trading, or a natural‑born entrepreneurial spirit.

Social, curious, and able to keep a cool under pressure.

Affinity with dairy is a plus but not required – we will teach you everything you need to know!
