Account Manager BY-Products A at Tata Steel  About the role As the Account Manager for By-Products, you will oversee the sales of non-steel products generated by Tata Steel in IJmuiden. Your responsibilities will include promoting by-products such as blast furnace slag sand (used in the cement industry), zinc and tin residues, non-processable iron streams, iron oxide, and various chemical by-products.

You will be tasked with identifying new commercial opportunities and engaging effectively with clients.

What you'll do   Manage the sales process for a range of by-products, ensuring alignment with market needs.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients to foster long-term partnerships.
Requirements   A degree in a relevant field such as Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in the industrial sector.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in both Dutch and English, both written and verbal.
Nice to have   Experience in the steel or manufacturing industries.
Familiarity with sustainability practices and circular economy concepts.
Skills & tools   Knowledge of CRM software and sales management tools.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Practical notes  This position may require occasional travel to meet clients and attend industry events. The company offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
