Business Unit Director

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Unit Director to lead and grow a global RFID business. This strategic leadership role carries full responsibility for business performance, including P&L, product strategy, market growth, and team leadership. You will work closely with commercial and engineering teams to drive innovation, strengthen customer relationships, and expand market presence within the RFID ecosystem.

SALARY: 170K CHF

• Own the full P&L, including revenue, profitability, budgets, and investment decisions.
• Define and execute the business unit strategy to drive growth and market leadership.
• Lead product roadmap planning, portfolio management, and new product introductions.
• Build strategic relationships with key customers, partners, and industry organisations.
• Drive business development and strategic account engagement in collaboration with Sales.
• Identify new market opportunities through competitive analysis and industry trends.
• Lead cross-functional teams across product management and engineering while fostering collaboration across the business.
• Establish performance metrics and promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and operational excellence.

• 10+ years' experience within semiconductor, RFID, connectivity, or related technology markets.
• Proven leadership experience in business unit management, product management, marketing, or business development.
• Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of managing P&L and delivering profitable growth.
• Deep understanding of RFID technologies, applications, and market dynamics.
• Experience leading cross-functional and international teams.
• Strong customer relationship, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Well-established network within the RFID and wider IoT ecosystem is highly desirable.
• Willingness to relocate to Neuchâtel, Switzerland.
• Fluent English is essential;
  French and/or German would be an advantage.
