Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing assigned accounts within a defined territory
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients in the portfolio
- Ensure contract renewals and guarantee client satisfaction
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for existing clients in the portfolio
- Analyze and address clients’ technical, administrative, and financial needs
- Prepare commercial proposals and follow up on them
- Recommend additional services that drive revenue growth
- Present and demonstrate products and services
- Work closely with internal teams to achieve objectives
- Federal VET diploma (CFC) as a commercial clerk or equivalent qualification
- Additional training in sales negotiation or key account management is a plus
- Minimum 3 to 7 years’ experience in a B2B sales role, account management, or business development
- Strong command of the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, proposal, negotiation, closing, and retention
- Experience in the fire protection sector is an asset
- Ability to analyze clients’ technical, administrative, and financial needs
- Proficiency in consultative selling and negotiation techniques
- Ability to prepare commercial proposals and manage a sales pipeline
- Knowledge of commercial indicators: revenue, margin, profitability, forecast, conversion rate
- Ability to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities
- Ability to deliver product/service presentations and demonstrations
- Good understanding of business priorities and client mapping
- Proficiency with office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.) and a CRM (Salesforce, Dynamics, Hub Spot or equivalent)
