Overview
Canopy Property Services is seeking a full-time in-person Accounting and Bookkeeping Professional in Incline Village, NV. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized accounting professional with experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, payroll, and financial reporting.
Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting tasks for company and client accounts.
- Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoices, payments, check runs, and vendor bills.
- Reconcile bank accounts, including HOA operating, reserve, and CD accounts.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, budget vs. actual reports, and supporting documents for management, HOA boards, and community managers.
- Process payroll and related journal entries.
- Track homeowner assessments, rental invoices, landlord payments, delinquent accounts, prepaid items, reserve transfers, and client charges.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, tenants, vendors, clients, CPAs, board members, and internal staff.
- Maintain organized records for audits, taxes, compliance, and internal review.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and confidentiality.
- Proficiency with accounting software, including Quick Books and Caliber, as well as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Accrual accounting experience required.
- Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
- HOA, property management, rental, real estate, or multi-entity accounting experience preferred.
