Accounting & Project Finance Manager – Architecture, Interior Design & Construction

We’re hiring an Accounting & Project Finance Manager to join our in-house team at Gilan Farr Architecture in the Lake Tahoe / Incline Village area.

This position will support our architecture, interior design, FF&E procurement, and construction operations and is ideal for someone with strong bookkeeping or accounting experience who understands project-based businesses.

• Architectural and interior design contract billing
• Project budgets, job costing, and profitability tracking
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable
• FF&E purchasing, vendor deposits, client billing, and procurement tracking
• Construction budgets and cost-to-complete reporting
• Subcontractor and vendor invoice management
• Change-order and committed-cost tracking
• Vendor and subcontractor payments
• Bank and credit-card reconciliations
• Coordination with our outside CPA and payroll provider

We’re especially interested in candidates with experience in construction accounting, job costing, architecture, interior design, development, or another project-based professional services firm
.

This is a full-time, in-office position in Incline Village / Lake Tahoe.

• Strong Quick Books and Excel skills are preferred, along with excellent organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
