Player Services Representative

Summary:

Provides guest service, safeguards company funds and maintains an accurate account of cash window impress totals. Additionally, provides cash services for both internal and external guests and provides information and all services related to the One Card, including the sign up of new customers and the issuance of new cards.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Securing of company funds.
  • Redeeming chips, coins, cash checks and e-tickets and supplies information to guests.
  • Maintaining and assuring the proper routing of the department's paperwork.
  • Establishes accurate accounts for players based on data entry guidelines, issue cards and explains the program to them.
  • Issues cash redemptions based on earned number of points available in player accounts.
  • Updates accounts with information changes and obtains missing information on player accounts.
  • Understand and execute regulations for AML (Anti-money laundering) and Title 31.
  • Maintain sufficient knowledge to answers questions about the One Card promotions and rewards program and other general information regarding overall casino amenities including, but not limited to parking, facilities, hotels, restaurants, and all events and promotions.
  • Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • Previous casino Cage or cash handling experience highly preferred.
  • Data entry/computer skills are required.
  • Must be mathematically inclined.
  • Money handling and organizational skills preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, CMP, Newave, Telecheck, Fabicash, and SDS preferred.
  • Must be proficient in using the Ten Key Adding Machine.
  • The primary language spoken and written is English.
  • Effective Customer Service skills.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.
  • Verify right to work in the United States.

  • Frequently required to walk and stand for long periods.
  • Use hands to hold tools and/or equipment required for position.
  • Reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and push up to 100 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment Conditions:

The work environment is characterized as a casino setting requiring multi-tasking, where computers and standard office equipment will be supplied and used as a part of the job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud requiring service to guests who may be smoking and/or drinking alcohol. The work environment is a smoking environment in the building.
